365 Penguins

Fromental addresses ecology and mathematics in this story about a holiday gift gone awry. Beginning 1 January, a family receives a penguin each day of the year–for the entire year. As one might imagine, the situation fast grows crazy. The bathroom situation is worse. Father attempts to organize the penguins in various groupings, by the dozens or in cubes.  By New Year’s Eve, the situation is (thankfully!) resolved. Kids from 4 to 9 will love the amusing pictures and the fun story (and adults will, too).
